Not worth even one star. I purchased what was claimed to be a compatible cartridge for my HP printer. Turns out, it doesn't fit at all and caused my printer to go haywire. After a bunch of back and forth with a guy named Goven, answering his endless silly questions, I finally threw in the towel and decided I won't ever shop with this company again. They peddle faulty cartridges from China that ruin your printer. Just steer clear of this place.

This is my second experience with Cartridge World's own-brand products, and once again, I'm let down. I decided to give two different weights of their photo paper a shot, and honestly, the results are pretty disheartening. The output is streaky, and the ink smudges with just a light touch. I also ordered two packs of original Canon paper at the same time (same weight), and those turned out just fine, so it’s clear the printer isn’t the issue. I’ll keep shopping with them, but I’ll be sticking to the manufacturer's supplies from now on.

Fantastic assistance from the Hull location on Cottingham Road. They were super professional and provided top-notch customer service. Definitely worth recommending!

CAUTION TO SHOPPERS:

I bought a toner cartridge from this company back in June. When it finally showed up, I took a few days before I could install it. But when I tried, my Laser Printer just wouldn’t recognize the cartridge from Cartridge World. I popped in the old genuine cartridge, and guess what? The printer recognized it right away.

So, I called them up to explain what was going on. The lady on the line seemed a bit confused and suggested she’d have their tech team call me back within the hour to sort it out. She thought maybe there were some buttons on the printer I hadn’t pressed to make their cartridge work.

Well, that hour passed, and I ended up calling her back the next morning. She didn’t even remember our conversation or that she was supposed to have someone call me. I told her I wanted to return the cartridge for a refund. That’s when the real trouble began, as it became obvious they were reluctant to give my money back. It took them two weeks just to send me a returns form. Once I got it, I sent it back the same day with tracking. A week later, I noticed they still hadn’t refunded my £59.99! I had to take further steps to get them to process the refund, and in total, it took about two months to finally get my money.

Their customer service is practically nonexistent. When you talk to them, they just deflect and make you jump through hoops. My advice? Stay far away and look for alternatives. Plus, their cartridges are pricier than what you’ll find elsewhere, so for both reasons, give this place a miss.

I won't be using this company anymore. My first order was completely botched, and then they just straight-up lied about it.

I bought some HP cartridges that didn’t work at first. I got an error saying 'non genuine cartridge.' The tech from CW sent me a YouTube link with a workaround, and that did the trick. But now, I gotta do this every time I print since the printer keeps locking up. Plus, after just around 30 pages, the print quality is already going downhill. Seems like a false economy to me.

This online platform is super easy to navigate. I got my toner cassette in just a few days through Royal Mail. Cheers, Rob Thornton!

I looked around for ink since the prices can be all over the place — Cartridge World had a fantastic deal and it showed up the very next day. Great service - I'll definitely be back!

I ordered a cartridge from CW, and they shipped it out quickly. But, you know what they say, a chain's only as strong as its weakest link, and the courier, DHL, really dropped the ball - they said the package was 'refused.' That's just nonsense. There are only two of us here, and neither of us turned it down. CW was quick to respond with an apology and gave us a refund right away (we ended up buying the item from a local CW store). Then, the courier, after saying the parcel was on its way back to CW, ended up delivering it to the US! CW took action and resolved the situation to our satisfaction.
